We have begun looking at policies around the country regarding homelessness. Some cities take aggressive actions to cleanse their public areas of homeless people; others take more empathetic means. Students will be preparing for a debate relating to topic of criminalizing the homeless, which will be held on Monday and Tuesday of next week. This will lead nicely into a persuasive essay, which will be the final assignment due before break.
