We started class today with the poem, “Deer Print” by Benjamin F Williams, and talked about the rich description the author used to describe something he wished he had seen.
We then had a minilesson on leads in narrative writing. The notes are attached here: narrative leads
Then students conducted book talks. Post it notes were turned in with the group’s evaluation sheet.
