This semester in Art Elective, we are going to make projects using a variety of materials. We began the semester by drawing outside in nature. Currently, students are making bowls from recycled magazines. Later, we will do some fiber arts, possibly weaving or knitting or crocheting.
In the winter semester of the Middle School Art Elective class, students had the opportunity to create various kinds of artwork using the iPads. In the fall, Middle School Art Elective students examined artwork by Environmental artists such as Andy Goldsworthy and Robert Smithson.
